Really organized people are not born organized ,they have to cultivate certain things ,which  help them to stay organized .Staying organized and productive at work helps you stay focused and complete tasks on time.

When you do so, you can prioritize work and excel, which aids your career progress and success. There are several options for organizing your responsibilities and tasks, here are the few tips which helps you to expertise in your field.

1.SET GOALS:

Setting goals is the crucial thing which you must do inorder to be successful in your life.  By setting your goals, will automatically makes you to stick to it and you will start working for it inorder to pursue it. So Set your both long and short term goals and run towards it. Achievable goals can help you to stay focused and organized. Your goals should be SMART: specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely. It’s easier to stay organized when you know why you’re doing it.

2.MAKE LISTS:

Even if we try to remember everything ,we tend to remember only for the short period of time because we easily get distracted .So try to make a to-do list for each day and plan accordingly your works , this makes you to complete your tasks on time.  Divide your daily tasks by how important they are and do them in order of their priority level.

3.STAY AWAY FROM DISTRACTIONS:

Distractions are the most common thing which we face in our day to day life .By staying away from distractions will make you to be focused on your work .The common distractions like social media..,,etc should be avoided  during the working hours .Limiting the distractions can also be done by keeping the space organized and straightforward.

4.MANAGE YOUR TIME:

Better time management may help you regain control of days, if you never seem to have enough time  .Learning how to manage your time  effectively can help you feel more relaxed , focused and  in control.”The aim of good time management is to achieve the lifestyle balance you want ,”says Emma Donaldson-Feilder,a chartered occupational psychologists.  Keep in mind that the amount of time required to complete a task is the amount of time you give yourself, which is the essence of Parkinson’s law. Tracking the time will keep you accountable and help you to organize your time better and to avoid distractions.

5.MANAGE YOUR FINANCE BETTER:

This skill is mandatory for everyone ,regardless of what you do for a living or the amount of money you have .Have a monthly budget ,keep track of your bills ,Track your spending ,Save a  percentage of every paycheck .These are the some tips which helps you to lead a better life.

6.LEARN TO EAT THE FROG (do the hardest job first):

Plan your task accordingly based on the priorities of the work .The hardest task should be completed first rather than the simplest job ,this makes you feel more relaxed and fulfilled. “The more you hesitate you do it ,the harder it will be”. If you need to do something hard and/or important, especially if you dread it, do it first, within the first few hours of your workday. It will give you a sense of accomplishment and provide the wind at your back to help you continue your day successfully.

7. TAKE TIME TO RELAX:

Rest is as important as working .Just like a muscle, your brain gets worn out and it needs downtime to function properly .You don’t have to work 24/7 to be productive. In fact, you’ll be much more productive if you take proper rest .Not only that: if you sacrifice sleep to get more work done, be aware that being sleep deprived makes you more prone to serious illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease, among others. Some people schedule their time to relax in advance: if you’re super busy, that’s an idea you should try out.

8. DECLUTTER AND SIMPLIFY :

You can’t have a clear and organized mind in a cluttered and non-organized space.
In her book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, Marie Kondo said “The space in which we live should be for the person we are becoming now, not for the person we were in the past” .She adds: “The best way to choose what to keep and what to throw away is to take each item in one’s hand and ask: “Does this spark joy?” If it does, keep it. If not, dispose of it. ”This principle applies to everything: not only your physical space but also your digital space and who and what you surround yourself with.

These are the few tips which will make you more organized and productive .Deciding how to organize your life isn’t about precisely what time you should wake-up in the morning or exactly where you should store your important documents. Rather than getting caught up in these details, pay attention to the bigger principles of leading a good life. Organizing your life may seem like a long and complicated journey, but it’s absolutely doable. Key things are building good habits, decluttering, simplifying, and being prepared. There are also a couple of skills you should develop, such as time and money management.
Being organized will help you make the most out of your time and live your life to its fullest potential because you will have time for everything.
